About Praxis
Praxis Healthcare Advisors is a boutique healthcare advisory firm focused on operational performance, contracting strategy, growth execution, and mergers & acquisitions.
We bring hands-on experience across dialysis, wound care, apheresis, primary care, care coordination, Enhanced Care Management (ECM), and Health Homes.
Our engagements are built for leaders who need clarity, measurable improvement, and execution support — not just strategy slides.
Raised on the discipline of science and the rigor of data, Eric graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Morehouse College. The analytical mindset he developed there became a defining advantage as he entered healthcare operations. Numbers, to Eric, are not abstractions; they are the language of quality, safety, access, and experience. He learned early that improving a metric—whether HEDIS, RAF, P&L, or patient satisfaction—meant improving a human reality behind the number.
That orientation toward disciplined improvement traveled with Eric to U.S. Renal Care, where he managed large multi-hospital territories and led the implementation of new service lines. He became known for unearthing latent value in overlooked processes—recovering revenue by modernizing billing, lowering labor and supply costs through smarter scheduling and inventory, and lifting quality by elevating top-performing nurses into leadership roles. His approach was pragmatic and human: remove friction, reward excellence, and communicate relentlessly.
At DaVita, Eric’s operational leadership grew broader and deeper. He cultivated cross-functional teams, raised patient satisfaction from struggling baselines to enviable benchmarks, and delivered material savings without sacrificing care. These experiences strengthened his conviction that financial stewardship and clinical quality are not competing goals but mutually reinforcing disciplines. By updating staffing models, renegotiating vendor agreements, and deploying lean methodologies, he proved that cost and quality can rise together when leaders refuse false tradeoffs.
Eric’s reputation for scaling quality and results led him to Healogics, the nation’s largest provider of wound care services. There, he oversaw a vast, multi-state region with a nine-figure revenue profile and dozens of director-level leaders. In an 18-month window shaped by a global pandemic, he moved centers from the bottom quartile to the top quartile by pairing data-driven rigor with day-to-day coaching. He exceeded revenue projections by driving new growth, strengthened retention by understanding evolving market needs, and achieved some of the highest KPIs across an enterprise of hundreds of centers. It was a masterclass in leading at scale under pressure.
In 2022, Eric joined Titanium Healthcare and took on the challenge of integrating clinical excellence with business performance across primary care clinics and Enhanced Care Management programs. He introduced productivity tools with the Chief Medical Officer to raise RAF and HEDIS measures, implemented electronic intake to cut wait times and grow daily volume, and rebuilt credentialing and enrollment processes to lift payer collections from 45% to 80% in only three months. He brought the same mindset to revenue integrity, standing up cash workflows for out-of-network patients and tightening claims pathways to protect margins while preserving access.
As his vantage point expanded, so did his mandate. In 2025, Eric moved into the role of Vice President of Business Development at Titanium Healthcare, where he leads market expansion for Enhanced Care Management and Community Supports programs. He forges partnerships with health plans, provider networks, and community-based organizations, translating a decade and a half of operational insights into growth strategies that are both ambitious and executable. His work is guided by a simple truth: business development that is divorced from the realities of frontline care is strategy on paper, not value in practice.
Eric also founded Praxis Healthcare Advisors, a boutique consultancy focused on M&A preparation, operational strategy, and IPA negotiations. Through Praxis, he helps organizations scale thoughtfully—aligning people, processes, and technology to accelerate outcomes and enterprise value. He has guided clients through acquisitions, built repeatable frameworks for Enhanced Care Management documentation and scale, and implemented marketing and referral strategies that materially increased patient volume and revenue. The name “Praxis” is intentional: theory only matters when it translates into action.
Beyond his operating roles, Eric serves as a Business Lead Board Member at HeartProfit, where he channels his passion for culture into tangible certification programs that help organizations become both compassionate and high-performing. The appointment reflects a throughline in his leadership—performance is a cultural outcome before it is a financial one. He invests in teams, creates clarity around goals, and celebrates progress in ways that compound engagement and results.
Colleagues often highlight Eric’s distinct ability to bridge clinical and financial domains. He is a translator between the language of patient care and the language of P&L, ensuring that decisions honor both. He designs KPIs that matter, builds dashboards that tell the truth, and insists that every process change be testable, teachable, and scalable. Whether he is coaching a director, briefing a board, or negotiating a payer contract, his north star remains constant: every improvement must ultimately be felt by a patient and a provider.
Eric’s personal ethos shows up in the smallest details of his leadership. He is deliberate about listening, precise in his commitments, and generous with credit. He believes that humility and standards are complementary virtues—one opens him to new information; the other ensures he acts on it. Outside of work, travel and running keep him grounded and reflective, renewing the energy he brings to complex systems and the people who rely on them.
Today, Eric is recognized as a builder and a fixer, a strategist and an operator, a leader who can guide organizations through change without losing sight of the human beings at the heart of healthcare. He is actively engaged in board and advisory opportunities where his cross-functional experience—in operations, value-based care, payer relations, and growth—can help organizations avoid costly missteps and accelerate toward sustainable performance. His biography is still being written, but one line will not change: “The mission of healthcare should be everybody’s mission.”
Strategic
Eric connects enterprise goals to frontline realities, building plans that are measurable, repeatable, and built for scale. He sequences initiatives thoughtfully—stabilize, optimize, then grow—so that success compounds instead of colliding. He selects metrics that matter and designs governance to sustain momentum long after the kickoff meeting.
Knowledge
He combines a scientist’s precision with an operator’s pragmatism, turning data into decisions that improve access, quality, and margin. His fluency across HEDIS, RAF, revenue cycle, and care coordination allows him to design interventions that work in the real world. He stays current on regulatory shifts and market dynamics, ensuring strategies anticipate change rather than react to it.
Eric’s career began with hands-on operational leadership, managing complex inpatient dialysis programs across the Washington, D.C. region. He learned to coordinate physicians, nurses, social workers, dietitians, and administrators, aligning them around consistent protocols and outcomes. In these formative years, he reduced infections, stabilized staffing, and transformed response times by rethinking workflows and communication pathways. He discovered that when teams are trusted, trained, and well-equipped, quality becomes repeatable and results compound.
Character
Eric leads with integrity, matching high standards with empathy for the teams that carry them out. He practices accountability that starts with himself and extends outward, creating trust that enables hard conversations and decisive action. He shows resilience in the face of complexity, returning again and again to purpose as his compass.
Communication
He is a clear, calm storyteller who aligns diverse stakeholders without diluting the message. He turns dashboards into narratives and meetings into decisions, ensuring that information moves at the speed of the mission. He teaches as he leads, making complex topics accessible so teams can own the outcome.

Over more than fifteen years, he has led complex, multi-site organizations through transformation, expansion, and performance turnarounds, always with a clear through line: patient well-being and organizational health are inseparable. His biography is a story of progress—beginning on the clinical operations floor and rising into enterprise leadership—yet the constant is his belief that better systems produce better care.
